Today ESL TV is very happy and proud to announce that an eSports legend has joined its ranks. Starting in January 2013, Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner will join ESL TV as a fulltime employee in our headquarter in Cologne, Germany. Paul will be the Head of Content and Media and as such he will be responsible for all the content on ESL TV, its website and our social media channels.
Being a part of the scene for around 10 years now Paul is one of the most distinguished, widely recognised persons in eSports. Starting as a shoutcaster at the ClanBase radio in 2002 he has continued to work as a journalist, broadcaster, commentator and a stage host. In addition, he brings professional experience in social media on a large scale for international clients.
He is looking forward to his new challenge: “I leave Fresh Egg with a tinge of sadness as it is a fantastic place to work, but I am incredibly excited to be joining one of the world’s premier global eSports brands, allowing me to take up a position which combines my passion for eSports, social media and broadcasting. I am very honored to have been offered this opportunity to return to eSports full time and I cannot wait to get started!”
Over the course of many years Paul has attended events all around the world including: Intel Extreme Masters World Championship at CeBIT 2012 and Blizzard’s WCS Europe Finals in Stockholm.
